                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 1811,
                   1813, AND 1815 DUNCAN AVENUE, BEING ON THE
                   NORTHEAST LINE OF DUNCAN AVENUE AT ORCHARD
                   KNOB AVENUE FROM R-3 RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO R-4
                   SPECIAL ZONE.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
             
              A tract of land located at 1811, 1813, and 1815 Duncan
              Avenue, being on the northeast line of Duncan Avenue at
              Orchard Knob Avenue.  Lots 9, 10, and 11, block 21,
              Highland Park Addition No. 1, as shown by plat of record
              in plat book 1, page 23, R.O.H.C., being the property
              described in deed book 2981, page 428, R.O.H.C.  Tax Map
              No. 146J-S-17, 18, and 19.
             
         from R-3 Residential Zone to R-4 Special Zone.
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, the 
public
         welfare requiring it.
